The Bricks Pizzeria | Our Story

Wood-Fired pizza with Michigan roots

Wood-Fired pizza with Michigan roots

The Bricks Pizzeria brings wood-fired pizza, house-made pasta and a neighborhood approach to dining on Kercheval Avenue in Grosse Pointe Park. Our menu starts with quality ingredients, straightforward recipes and food made with care in our kitchen.
Fox Hollow Farm

Fox Hollow Farm

Our Michigan roots extend to Fox Hollow Farm, our own farm in Metamora. When the season and availability allow, select ingredients from the farm make their way into our dishes. We also source ingredients from local and regional producers, giving our menu a connection to the farms, growers and producers around us. From pizza coming out of the wood-fired oven to pasta made in-house, The Bricks is a place for good food, familiar faces and gathering around the table.
Made from scratch at The Bricks

Made from scratch at The Bricks

Fresh, house-made ingredients are part of what we do at The Bricks. Our kitchen makes pasta and sauces from scratch, including favorites like cacio e pepe and rigatoni Alfredo. Our pizza dough and breads are made fresh daily at our sister bakery, LeRouge Boulangerie, and our pizzas are hand-stretched and fired in our wood-burning oven.
Patience and fire

Patience and fire

Long cold fermentation builds the deep flavor and open crumb that define the crust. At 750°, the wood-fired oven finishes fast — a blistered exterior, tender interior, and a lightness that can't be rushed.

The Bricks opened at 15201 Kercheval Ave. as a neighborhood gathering place for friends, families and the Grosse Pointe Park community. It’s a place to share wood-fired pizza, house-made pasta and a good meal around the table. From weeknight dinners to celebrations with friends, The Bricks was made to bring people together.
